Nilai-Nilai Keluarga Seperti yang Terlihat dalam Novel The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Karya C. S. Lewis
This research entitles “Family Values as Seen in the Novel The Chronicles of Narnia : the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis”. The aims of this research are to identify, classify and analyze what the family values. In this reasearch, the writer uses extrinsic elements to analyze family values using the theory from Laminna and Riedmann (2009: 13) and uses intrinsic elements to analyze story plots by using the theory from Freytag (1900: 115). The method used in study is descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research shows that in the intrinsic element based on the theory of Freytag (1900: 115) about story plots, Freytag divides the fiction storyline into 5 parts : exposition (the initial stage of the storyline), rising action (the stage where the initial conflict appears in the story), climax (the highest stage of the storyline), falling action (the final stage of the storyline) and denouement (the stage where the storyline conflict ends).Then, in the extrinsic element based on the theory of Laminna and Riedmann (2009: 13) there are 12 narrations, which are 4 data togetherness, 4 data stability and 4 data loyalty
