SINDROM STOCKHOLM SEPERTI YANG TERCERMIN DALAM FILM 365 DAYS (2020) : SEBUAH STUDI PSIKOANALISIS

ABSTRACT
This skripsi is entitled “Sindrom Stockholm seperti yang tercermin dalam film 365 Days (2020) : Sebuah Studi Psikoanalisis”. Stockholm Syndrome is a phenomenon known when hostages develop a psychological attachment to their captors. This psychological phenomenon is depicted in a number of literary works, including 365 Days. This study seeks to identify the characteristics of Stockholm Syndrome and how Laura in the film 365 Days portrays the syndrome. The researcher used the theories from Graham (1996) and Carver (2009) to identify the characteristics of Stockholm Syndrome and the theories from Boggs and Petrie (2008) to investigate how Laura in the movie 365 Days represents the image of Stockholm Syndrome. The approach was literary psychology with a descriptive qualitative method. The study’s findings indicate that: a) there are a total of 5 data of the Stockholm Syndrome’s characteristics in the film 365 Days by using Graham (1996), which are: 1 data for threats against victims that endanger their safety; 1 data for victims receiving threats from perpetrators not to run away; 1 data for the perpetrator forbids the victim to have contact with other people; and, 2 data for the perpetrator has kindness to his victim and there are a total of 5 data of the Stockholm Syndrome’s characteristics in the film 365 Days by using Carver (2009), which are: 2 data for negative feelings by the victim towards family, friends, or authorities; 1 data to support the reasons and behavior of the perpetrators; and, 2 data for the victim’s supportive behavior sometimes helps the perpetrator, and b) there are a total of 3 data of investigate how Laura in the movie 365 Days represents the image of Stockholm Syndrome by using Boggs and Petrie (2008), which are: description of Stockholm Syndrome through the characterization of the character’s appearance; description of Stockholm Syndrome through characterization in dialogue; description of Stockholm Syndrome through external measures; and, description of Stockholm’s Syndrome through internal action.
