Afiks Infleksi dalam Film Maleficent 2 Karya Linda Woolverton “This research entitles “Inflectional Affixes in the Film Maleficent 2 by Linda Woolverton.” It is written to identify, classify, and analyze the forms and the functions of inflectional affixes in the film Maleficent 2 by Linda Woolverton. The method used in this research is descriptive method, and the data of inflectional affixes were taken from film Maleficent 2 by Linda Woolverton. The data have been analyzed by using the theories of O’Grady and Dobrovolsky (1992). The result of the inflectional affixes research that have been found in the film Maleficent 2 by Linda Woolverton are 67 data 30 {-s},7 {-‘s}, 2 {-es},17 {-ing}, 2 {ed}, 6 {-ed/en}, 1 {-er} and 2 {-est}. The functions of the inflectional affixes that have been found in the film Maleficent 2 by Linda Woolverton are the inflectional affixes {-s} which functions as plural, inflectional affixes {-‘s} as possessive, inflectional affixes {-es} as third person singular non past, inflectional affixes {-ing} as progressive, inflectional affixes {-ed} as past tense, inflectional affixes {-ed/en} functions as past participle, inflectional affixes {-er} functions as comparative and inflectional affixes {-est} as superlative.

Penelitian ini berjudul “Afiks Infleksi dalam Film Maleficent 2 karya Linda Woolverton.” Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan, dan menganalisis bentuk dan fungsi afiks infleksi dalam film Maleficent 2 karya Linda Woolverton. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, data afiks infleksi diambil dari film Maleficent 2 karya Linda Woolverton. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori O’Grady dan Dobrovolsky (1992). Hasil penelitian afiks infleksi yang ditemukan dalam film Maleficent 2 karya Linda Woolverton berjumlah 67 data 30 {-s},7 {-‘s}, 2 {-es},17 {-ing}, 2 {ed }, 6 {-ed/en}, 1 {-er} dan 2 {-est}. Fungsi afiks infleksi yang banyak ditemukan pada film Maleficent 2 karya Linda Woolverton adalah afiks infleksi {-s} berfungsi sebagai penanda bentuk jamak, afiks infleksi {-‘s} berfungsi sebagai penanda kepunyaan, afiks infleksi {-es} berfungsi sebagai penanda bentuk orang ketiga tunggal, afiks infleksional {-ing} berfungsi sebagai penanda kala sedang berlangsung, afiks infleksi {-ed} berfungsi sebagai penanda waktu lampau, afiks infleksi {-ed/en} berfungsi sebagai penanda bentuk lampau, afiks infleksi {-er} berfungsi sebagai penanda perbandingan dan afiks infleksi {- est} berfungsi sebagai penanda bentuk superlatif.
