Journal Management Workshop Held by English Literature Department at Faculty of Cultural Sciences

Manado, October 10, 2024 – The Faculty of Cultural Sciences of Sam Ratulangi University hosted a Journal Management Workshop today, organized by the editorial team of Paratext: International Journal of Language and Literature, the journal for the English Literature program. The event took place in the 3rd-floor auditorium from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM WITA, attended by journal managers and faculty members.

Featured speakers included Prof. Roni Koneri, S.Pd., M.Si., as the main presenter, Ibu Maya P. Warouw, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Arter Jodi Senduk, S.S., M.Hum., Editor in Chief of Paratext Journal. The workshop aimed to provide insights and skills in scientific journal management.

Participants learned about the preparation of journal forms, effective article writing techniques, and publication procedures that meet academic standards. It is hoped that through this activity, faculty and researchers can enhance the quality of their scientific publications and become more actively involved in the development of knowledge. With this support, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences is committed to becoming a leading institution in producing high-quality academic work.
