One of the aspect in human life is the psychological aspect. In this research, the author focuses on the psychology of the main character in a novel entitled “The Mark of Athena”, especially the behavior of Annabeth Chase. A person’s behavior is influenced by a stimulus, resulting in a response that is behavior. The purpose of this research is to identify the stimulus faced by Annabeth and analyze the response which is the behavior of the stimulus faced by Annabeth. To examine the behavior of the character of Annabeth Chase, the author uses the behaviorism theory of Skinner (2005), and the theory of character by Roberts and Jacobs (1986). The result of this research is that there are two stimuli faced by Annabeth, namely, a stimulus from another individual and a psychic or inner stimulus. There are also two types of responses produced by Annabeth, namely, stimulus responses from other individuals and psychic or inner stimulus responses.
