Kalimat-Kalimat Minor dalam Film Guardians Of The Galaxy: Holiday Special Karya James Gunn
“The focus of this research is the minor sentences in the film Guardians of The Galaxy: Holiday Special by James Gunn. The writer used the theory of Charles Hockett (1958) to identify and analyze the data that have been found in the film. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The results of the research, show that there are only three types of minor sentences in the film, such as subjectless minor sentences, vocative minor sentences and fragment minor sentences. Aphoristic minor sentences is not found on this research. The number of the data found in the movie are 115 minor sentences, which are 25 subjectless minor sentences, 34 vocative minor sentences, 56 fragment minor sentences. This study is expected to provide more information about minor sentences to the readers.
Fokus penelitian ini adalah kalimat-kalimat minor dalam film Guardians of The Galaxy: Holiday Special karya James Gunn. Penulis menggunakan teori Charles Hockett (1958) untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis data yang telah ditemukan dalam film. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa hanya ada tiga jenis kalimat minor dalam film, seperti kalimat minor tanpa subjek, kalimat minor vokatif dan kalimat minor fragment. Kalimat minor aforistik tidak ditemukan pada penelitian ini. Jumlah data yang ditemukan dalam film adalah 115 kalimat minor, yaitu 25 kalimat minor tanpa subjek, 34 kalimat minor vokatif, 56 kalimat minor fragmen. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi lebih lanjut tentang kalimat minor kepada pembaca.”
