Analisis Deiksis Dalam Kitab Ezra (Kajian Pragmatik)
“This thesis discusses the use of deixis in the book of Ezra in pragmatic studies. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and equivalent method techniques. The purpose of this study is to identify, classify, and analyze, and describe the forms of deixis found in the book of Ezra. The results of this study, the authors found as many as 110 vocabulary containing deictic meaning, chapter 1, 4 vocabulary deixis meaning, chapter 2, 6 vocabulary deixis meaning, chapter 3, 6 vocabulary deixis meaning, chapter 4, 14 vocabulary deixis meaning, chapter 5, 12 vocabulary of deictic meaning, chapter 6, 10 vocabulary of deictic meaning, chapter 7, 9 vocabulary of deictic meaning, chapter 8, 24 vocabulary of deictic meaning, chapter 9, 15 vocabulary of deictic meaning, chapter 10, 10 meaning of deixis. The book of Ezra was written by the prophet Ezra and his disciples. The book of Ezra was written to record the events that took place in Israel after their return from Babylonian captivity and about 1 century after that,
starting from 538 BC concerning the rebuilding of the temple.
