ABSTRACT
This research is entitled “An Analysis of Identity Crisis Problems Experienced by Teenagers in the Movie Spider-man : No Way Home (2021) by Marvel Studios”. This study focuses on the problem of identity crisis experienced by Peter Parker in the film by observing the plot and frame of the story and conversation dialogue. The writer uses qualitative descriptive research methods to analyze the data. The main focus of the film is as follows : depicting expressions and problems that exist in the film accompanied by observing the perception of the main character who is experiencing identity crisis problems, and then analyzing using psychoanalysis and psychosocial theory from Sigmund Freud (1923) and Erikson (1968). Spider-man : No Way Home is the third sequel of the Spider-man film series, telling about the identity of Peter Parker who is Spider-man has been revealed to the public, but instead of being welcomed but he is hated by the public because of allegations of destruction of facilities and others, from here are many problems that alternately haunt Peter Parker. The results of this study show that there are two personality characteristics that Peter Parker shows in the film, and that is the Id and the Superego. The dominant personality shown by Peter Parker through out the film is when heal ways looks anxious, nervous, hesitant in making decisions, and always imposes his own will on others
